Privacy Policy

Evidence Link (evidence.li) is a cryptographic evidence service operated by Visionlight Productions Inc., Box 549, Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada R0G 1W0 (“Visionlight”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what Evidence Link processes, what it never publishes, and the rights record owners have. Privacy questions: support@outfielder.io.

1. What Evidence Link processes

Evidence Link receives records from the service it is integrated with, currently Outfielder, on behalf of record owners. A record consists of events (what happened, when the source says it happened, and when Evidence Link sealed it) and artifacts (the original reports, documents, and other files behind the events). Evidence Link also processes the account identifiers needed to scope each record to its owner, so a record is only ever visible to the people entitled to see it.

2. What leaves our servers

Only SHA-256 fingerprints leave our servers. Checkpoint fingerprints are submitted to public timestamp calendars and anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain through OpenTimestamps. A fingerprint is a one-way digest: it cannot be reversed into the content it came from. No record content, no findings, no artifacts, and no personal information are ever published or anchored.

3. What is never published

Record contents, findings, and artifacts stay private. Hashes of individual records are not published; only checkpoint fingerprints, which cover many records at once, are anchored publicly. The identity of anyone who files a report through a connected service is never published. Public pages, including the record pages at AAccessibility.com, show status and dates only.

4. This website

evidence.li is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no tracking or advertising scripts. Like any web server, it keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, and time of request) briefly, for security and to operate the site.

5. Retention and export rights

Sealed records are retained for the life of the record. A record owner can download their complete Case File at any time: the events, the originals, the signed checkpoints, and the offline verifier. A downloaded Case File stays verifiable forever, with no subscription and no help from us.

6. Sharing

We do not sell data. Records are disclosed only to the record owner and the people they authorize, to service providers who help us operate Evidence Link and only to the extent they need, or where the law requires disclosure.

7. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law, you may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask for its deletion, subject to what must be retained to keep sealed records intact and to meet legal obligations. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Changes and contact
